Poofer

A big, red, handmade rocket body combined with an "inspirator" and some propane - actually quite a lot of propane - makes for an impressive take on the poofer theme.

It attracted an awful lot of attention at the NYC Maker Faire in 2010, especially when word got out that I was indescriminately letting children press the big red button to fire it.
