Putting a neglected 1965 F100 pickup back into running condition in about two weeks and then driving it across the country in another two weeks seemed like a simple enough proposition when we initially discussed it. A junker driven from Fresno back to Oakland at night with no tail lights and no license plate and a few junkyard trips later, we finally got on the road in our truck.
Everything is going well so far. Fingers remain crossed.
Today we are in New Mexico, heading to the Los Alamos National Laboratory museum.
We’ll be posting updates and pictures from the road. Be sure to check this site for new articles and the Tango Echo Flickr photo pool for our pictures.
