3 Years of Broken Glass: An air cannon retrospective

The TE crew has had plenty of fun with air cannons over the past few years. From blowing up a bar window with the pirate cannon to vaporizing meat in the ghetto, the same concept has defined all of our cannons: Fuck ‘em if they can’t take a joke.

The Pink Panzer

A few days ago we looked at the pirate ship from the 2007 Kensington Kinetic Sculpture Derby in Philadelphia. Last year, in 2008, the TE crew built a life-sized, human-powered version of a Panzer Kampfwagen III in 11 days. After a short lived reign of terror, the tank was transformed into a pink camouflaged piece of public art installed in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia.
